PVC products because the the biased brittle & poor flatness make the films’ printing width have to control in about 60CM , but PET twist film can be up to 1 meter or more the, PET Twist film’s printing speed can be up to 200M / minute, while PVC can’t over 150M / minute. The twist film was starting more than 20 years in the China Market, first originated in Guangdong, Fujian and Zhejiang,which had produce of PVC twist film and some of cellophane by imported. Until the 2002-2003 domestic PET film facotry are research, promotion of new environmentally friendly PET twist film replaced with toxic PVC products. But for a long time, due to lax oversight of the regulatory authorities of the Food Packaging Department and the backwardness of the information, has not issued the relevant measures or explicitly non-printing view of the costs and profits of the reason, PVC film is not completely out of the food packaging industry until 2010 before and after some factories still use PVC film. PET Twist Film belongs to bioriented stretching product and PVC Twist Film belongs to calendering product. Different technologics makes the gap of the surface smoothness.Maybe you using the item is PVC one,so the surface smoothness is not very well, that is why twist film easy to break when it printing.

Will it reduce the cost if PET Twist film replaced the PVC Twist film?
 
The density of PET twist film is 1.38gcm-3, & PVC is 1.4gcm-3. At the same thickness & weight,PET Twist film have more area then PVC products. Also The film’s strength of 19microns PET twist film is more better than 30mcirons PVC twist film. So if use these 2 types film  for wrapping same goods, Using the PET twist film’s quantity(weight) only need 2/3 compared with the PVC twist film. It doesn’t increase the cost for the users! From the above informations, we can see that it reduces the cost if we use 19mcirons PET twist film!
